The Reference Text (printed)

If you are keen to master every detail of the knowledge covered by your selected module, buy a Reference Text. The printed text is great value for money but it is relatively long and time-consuming to work through as it covers every detail of the learning outcomes.
But ask yourself: will I actually read it cover to cover in time for the exam? And will I pass the exam just by reading? (These are questions you should ask yourself when considering lengthy texts from other publishers too.)
We call it a Reference Text because we think it’s best used for reference (before the exam and in the years to come) rather than actual learning. To just get through the exam, we recommend . . .
The PassKit (printed)

If your main aim is just to pass the exam with the minimum of trouble or time commitment, buy a PassKit. Question practice with Objective Response (OR) questions is MUCH, MUCH more important than rote learning so our PassKits contain:
- a minimum of explanatory text on each learning outcome
- numerous OR questions to practise on
- a full mock exam.
Where necessary, the answer to each question has an explanatory solution to clarify the right answer and explain why the wrong answers are wrong.
By the time you’ve finished practising questions, you won’t meet with many surprises in the actual exam.
But wait – the exams are all online, so what will probably suit you best of all is an online version of the PassKit and Reference Text . . .

Finally, you’ve studied hard, you’ve practised on our OR questions and mock, but the exam date is approaching and you want some final practice in answering OR questions in online exam format. Simple – just buy our Additional Mock Exam. Ideal to get you over the finishing line and on to the next stage of your CIPS studies.
Note that your purchase allows you only one attempt at the mock exam. It is vital that you complete your studies before attempting it. And when you are ready, be sure that you have an uninterrupted period ahead of you so that you can attempt it in exam conditions.
